All learnWISE programmes are designed around the outcome requirements of the government’s ‘Every Child Matters’ Framework. We follow the Foundation Stage Curriculum and National Occupational Standards for work with parents and family learning. This has been developed in association with the Sector Skills Council ‘Lifelong Learning UK’, Parenting UK and City & Guilds.
A multi-disciplinary team of practitioners deliver our learnWISE programmes. These include Level 4 and 5 qualified teachers, vocational & subject specific specialists, Guidance practitioners, mentors, Webster Stratton trained parenting practitioners and sports coaches.
We take an evidenced-based approach to all our work, measuring impact in terms of learning attainment, ‘distance travelled’ and progression. We do this through initial assessment, individual action planning, review and questionnaire feedback.
We operate a comprehensive child protection policy which conforms to requirements of the Children’s Act. All our staff are enhanced CRB checked. Routine refresher training is provided in child protection, risk assessment and Health & Safety.
