“With boltonWISE we have created a highly supportive work-based learning environment – enabling people to realise their full potential through ‘hands-on’ practical skills training, classroom tuition and e-learning. We have worked hard to devise a range of meaningful and relevant work experience opportunities. This enables people to acquire skills and provide evidence of their employability and capacity to learn. At the same time many of our trainees and volunteers are enhancing local services and the quality of life for communities in which they live. All these things add value to the core aims of Bolton Council.”
